Kate Bonner
Kate is a Chartered Physiotherapist. She trained at Otago
University in New Zealand attaining a Bachelor of
Physiotherapy and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports
Medicine. In 2006 she completed a Master of Health Science,
researching exercise adherence when using Pilates for the
rehabilitation of back pain.
Kate is the current physiotherapist for the New Zealand Surf
Life Saving Team who will compete in the World Championships
taking place in Germany in 2008.
Kate has been specialising in the Sherwood Technique for the
last two years and hopes to be able to help spread the
application of the technique around the world.
Jimmy May
Jimmy is a Chartered Phyisotherapist. He holds a Master of Rehabilitation Science Degree (with licence to practice physiotherapy) from the University of Brighton. He also holds a first class Bachelor of Science degree, in Biology, from the University of Bristol.
Jimmy has a wide variety of physiotherapy experience. He previously worked as a rotational physiotherapist for the NHS at Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Kent.
Jimmy first worked with Dr Sherwood ten years ago, before qualifying as a physiotherapist. Now fully qualified, he is back full time. He has a keen interest in the Sherwood Technique: its theory, application and dissemination. Jimmy's other areas of special interest include: medical acupuncture, manipulation, and injection therapy.
